Why don't we remember dreams after waking up ?

You had a pleasant dream and want to share with others, but didn't remember what was it,

Here's why,

Some People are interested to remember their dreams but can't because of their level of anxiety or quality of sleep results in people remembering their dreams at different amounts,each month.

Usually, for all of us dreams are forgotten easily, if we don't transfer them from short term memory to long term memory immediately after waking up.

There are few thories of why it happens to all of us. One possibility is that the neurochemicals present in our brain are different during sleep , than while waking and so they do not allow us to consolidate (transfer) the memory.

The other thing is that is possible is that we don't pay attention to our dreams as we are in sleep . We are unable to remember dreams. Even some people suddenly wakes up during the sleep and forget for what they had wake.

Here I have a tip for you to remember your dreams, keep a book and pen on your nightstand and after waking up immediately write your dream in it .
