First, the main factors because of which we can see things is the presence of light and our own 576 megapixels camera (our eyes).
Let's know how,
Any object which emits light can be seen whether it may be due to reflection –non luminous or by it's own light–luminous.
The rays of light coming from objects hits our eyes and enters in it,then it get processed by photorecipter cells known as rod cells and cons cell and finally forms a real and inverted image of the immediate object from which the light had came.

Then the formation of this image takes place on the screen called as retina at the back of our eyes. Further the retina sends a sensed image by the optic nerves which are connected to the brain in the form of electrical impulses.Then the part of our brain called visual cortex processes the data and thus we visualize the objects.
In simple demonstration we are able to see because of our eyes.
