This pimples don't leave anybody alone, they are always on your face, if one had gone other comes, but have you ever thought that why do we have pimples? What causes the pimples?

Let's know,

Pimples are caused due to the activity of sebaceous gland present inside our skin. This gland produces an oily substance called sebum. Sebum comes up to the skin surface through a pore and moisturizes hair and skin, which acts a natural moisturizer.

However, sometimes this pores gets blocked due to dead skin cells. This blockage accumulates the sebum in it, which creates a bump.

As sebum is a very good source of nutrients for the bacteria in our skin. This bacteria get start to grow in that area, leading to an infection.

Our immune cells response to this infection by sending blood and immune cells there. Because of the blood, the area gets red whereas the immune cells kill the bacteria, resulting in inflammation and formation of a pimple.
