1. Blue whales are gigantic. Generally ranging in length from 80 to 100 feet (24 to 30 metres). The longest blue whale ever recorded was magnificent 108 feet long.

2. These giants can weigh up to 200 tonnes or near about 441,000 pounds.

3. A blue whale's tongue alone weighs as much as an elephant.

4. Although we cannot hear them underwater, Blue whales have one of the loudest voices on the earth. The call can be louder than a jet engine and has been measured at 188 decibels.

5. They hearts are cars sized and its blood vessels are so wide that you could swim through them.
