Why cell phone tower has only red colour blinking on the top of it?

You all have been watching cell phone towers and blinking red light on it, but have you ever thought that why it has only red light blinking on it and why don't others, 

Let's know why, 

The main reason to use the red colour on the cell phone towers is that as we all know red light or red colour is used for dangerous and hazardous sign everywhere. Because red light is visualized from a long distance. Thus, the red light is used on the cell phone towers.

The other reason is that the cell phone towers are at a higher distance from the ground for safety purposes. So, on a foggy the planes or helicopters cannot see the cell phone towers which can cause an accident.

Also the towers are painted with the red and white colour because the red colour is more visible in the blue sky. So, the birds can see the towers easily and do not get obstructed by them.

Due to this purpose the red light is used on the cell phone towers.
